THE AREA
Cloudberry cabin is situated in the heart of Jämtland county, in its own local ski resort called Trillevallen and only 20 minutes drive from Sweden’s largest ski resort, Åre.
The lifts are a 3 minutes drive from the cabin. With a south east facing slope that protects the powder snow from the wind, Trillevallen’s eight lifts provide 22 kms of runs and a variety of skiing conditions that are perfect for all abilities, including touring and gentle off-piste areas on either side of the mountain. The family run ski rental shop offers friendly and quick service and the local ski school instructors are wonderful with children. This is a perfect resort for families.

A cross-country track behind the house provides direct access to 120kms of trails. There is even a night time floodlit route for evenings and darker months This is truly an amazing way to experience the unspoilt, wild nature of the area.
Other winter activities include dog sledding with a local company that we can arrange as well as ice fishing and ice climbing for the more adventurous.

Summer activities range from hiking, canoeing, trail running, swimming and fishing. The hiking trails runs in the forest behind the house.
